Service overview

Securities clearing and settlement is an operational discipline: trades must reconcile, instructions must be confirmed, custody decisions must precede value dates, and every exception must be resolved before it becomes an exposure. Safeguard Global Group provides clearing and settlement coordination and support services for institutional clients — working alongside their brokers, custodians, and counterparties to keep transaction lifecycles orderly.

Business Challenges Addressed

What this service exists to solve.

01

Operational fragmentation across counterparties

Institutional transactions typically involve brokers, custodians, correspondent institutions, and settlement agents across time zones. Coordination failures create failed trades, reconciliations, and unnecessary cost.

02

Exception visibility

Confirmation mismatches, late instructions, and unresolved reconciling items commonly surface only at value date — when the client's options are narrowest.

03

Reporting and documentation discipline

Clients need clear records of instruction status, confirmations, and settlement outcomes to satisfy their own governance, audit, and compliance requirements.

Direct vs. Authorized-Partner Delivery

Coordination & Advisory Service

Safeguard Global Group LLC provides clearing and settlement coordination and support services for clients. Where such services are provided directly, they are administrative and client-side in nature.

Safeguard does not act as a securities clearing organization, clearing member, broker-dealer, custodian, or securities exchange participant. Regulated clearing and settlement activity is performed by licensed institutions selected by or approved for the client, with Safeguard providing coordination and support around those institutions.

This classification is deliberate and is presented to every client in writing before engagement.

Depending on the jurisdiction and the nature of the engagement, services described on this page may be provided directly by Safeguard Global Group LLC under its own applicable authorizations, or coordinated with, or delivered by, authorized third-party institutions, affiliates, and service partners. Where a regulated service requires an authorization Safeguard does not hold, it is arranged exclusively through appropriately licensed providers. Clients are informed of the delivery structure applicable to their engagement before any service begins.
