Service overview
Freight does not manage itself: bookings, sequences of hand-offs, carrier documents, and last-mile coordination demand constant management. Safeguard provides freight forwarding coordination and logistics support — managing carriers and hand-offs on the client's behalf and keeping the delivery chain visible.
Business Challenges Addressed
What this service exists to solve.
Opaque shipments in motion
Clients routinely learn of delays after they've occurred. Visibility into shipment status is the exception, not the rule.
Carrier and forwarder sprawl
Sourcing, comparing, and coordinating forwarders and carriers across lanes consumes serious management time.
Document hand-offs
Transport documents must flow accurately across parties; errors here strand cargo at terminals and create charges.
Service Capabilities
What our team provides.
Freight coordination
Sourcing, booking coordination, and management of freight forwarders and carriers appropriate to each lane and cargo type.
Shipment tracking and reporting
Milestone tracking with proactive delay notifications — so the client hears about problems from us, not from their customer.
Logistics document coordination
Management of transport documents and hand-offs — bills of lading, waybills, and delivery-related paperwork.
Delivery chain management
Coordination of the full delivery chain from origin pickup through terminal processes to final delivery.
Direct vs. Authorized-Partner Delivery
Coordination & Advisory Service
Freight and logistics services described here are coordination and management services provided directly by Safeguard Global Group LLC.
Safeguard does not own or operate vessels, aircraft, trucks, or warehouses, and acts as a freight forwarder of record only where and as permitted by applicable law and the terms of the engagement. Transportation services are provided by third-party carriers and forwarders engaged for the shipment; Safeguard coordinates and manages these relationships on the client's behalf.
Depending on the jurisdiction and the nature of the engagement, services described on this page may be provided directly by Safeguard Global Group LLC under its own applicable authorizations, or coordinated with, or delivered by, authorized third-party institutions, affiliates, and service partners. Where a regulated service requires an authorization Safeguard does not hold, it is arranged exclusively through appropriately licensed providers. Clients are informed of the delivery structure applicable to their engagement before any service begins.
